Practice

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa is a flow that follows a sequence of postures with seamless transitions between each and guided by the breath - one breath, one movement. This traditionally follows the pace of inhales and exhales, and is generally an energising practice.

Foundations is for new to practiced students and for anyone who is seeking a strong knowledge base of integrated asanas (postures), breathwork and flow.

Open classes are for all levels and varied options are always given to support you in your 60 minute flow.

Practices are holistic and can include pranayama breath work, meditation and embodied theming for purpose driven classes.

Yin Yoga

Poses are held for 3-5 minutes in this practice to target the connective tissue and release the fascia. This is suitable for all levels.

Yin yoga is rooted in the Taoist concepts of yin and yang and the principles of Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM) to work through the meridian lines as well as the flow of qi (chi) in the organs.

Classes may focus on releasing a particular part of the body or on concepts in TCM and yin and yang to encourage an embodied practice.

These sessions run for 60 or 75 minutes and may include some yoga nidra, pranayama or qi breathwork and meditation.

You’ll slumber into a deep and restorative rest after these ones…

Try to keep meals light before yin!
